 two men stopped me in the road and complimented my eyes, but not in a threatening way.  one man had to go, the other was lore-lei, lore.lie. and he worried about the future.  so we found ourselves in a future island with the water receed and a storm on the way.

 no one to let you inside. no structure to hold the people -we held one another.

then i was taken and my blood veins rigged with wires so they could study me
